This document contains the comments of the Canadian Council for Refugees on the Regulations Amending the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (Asylum System Reform), published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, Volume 160, Number 25, June 20, 2026. The proposed regulations implement the recently adopted Strengthening Canada’s Immigration System and Borders Act (Bill C-12).
